my first year of public school! And I met my best friend that year. I remember buying the outfit I was going to wear hoping people would compliment me (I don't remember if anyone did). I remember two girls (who had later become my friends) showed me and this other new guy around the school.
On Halloween, we played musical chairs and when the music stopped at one part, I accidentally sat on a guy! It was so embarrassing! Everyone laughed at me...
..So many memories of that year!

Oh, and there was the 5th grade camping trip to Point Reyes!! I remember on our way to the campsite we were listening to a song (I forget what song it was) and it goes "Three damn nights" (i wonder if THATS what it's called.. anyway!!) and because we were young we all sang "Three ham nights" instead and my friend's dad said "Wow, that's a lot of ham."

I drifted away from my best friend ever since kindergarden. I met a couple friends that are still friends but not very close. Also I got wicked upset because i got four B's. lol

I met my best friend, well one of them & everyone called us twins. I had a fat teacher & she sat on one of the tables once & it tipped! We had a jewish christmas party (idk how 2 spell it) & ya it was fun but also bad. I had a math toutor that year also. I started getting sick that year =[

Don't be afraid. Freshman year isn't that bad if you stay out of trouble. I went to a private, Catholic school since I was 2, then I was pushed into Public school (A very different one from my safe little walls at private school) and I'm doing fine. Nobody is going to beat you up for fun. If you don't mess with the wrong people, you'll do fine.

i remember 5th grade. what a nice year. if you live in the same city as i do, middle school is going to be the biggest thing in the world but when you reach the same grade as i do (hs freshman) you're gonna be like whatever, but when you're on your last year of middle school, you're going to be scared poopless lol.
